I came across this girl while walking in downtown Detroit. She was so adorable, just standing there, playing with the water. I knew it was a moment I had to capture. So innocent, so real. I used 1/250 shutter speed to still keep the flow of the water within the shot, but at the same time, attain the single drops also. The 1600 ISO was of course to capture the vibrance of the street lights. Added border, added contrast (+5). This is a submission for deviantART-CameraQuest.com Street Photo Contest. Shot with Canon 20d on July 23, 2006. 1/250 F5.6 1600 ISO
