The Humble Lady

I believe I was on Walnut St. when I shot this. I saw her from a distance and knew I wanted to capture her. I stood my ground, and waited for her to fall perfectly into frame. Walked up towards her, had the intentions to give her some money anyway, but she still asked. I gave her a couple dollars and was about to go on my way, but she grabbed my hand and said thank you a million times and said that she wanted to kiss my hands to show her gratitude. I told her she didn't have to do that, I didn't deserve it. Which, come on, I don't deserve that shit, I didn't do anything extraordinary. But she insisted, and I wasn't just gonna pull my hand away from her and look like an asshole. And so that's why I titled this, "The Humble Lady."
